The Black family was built on multiple generations in the electronics manufacturing industry that has earned major customers such as Hewlett-Packard (HP) and IBM. After selling the electronics factory, the North American family arrived in the Dominican Republic in 2003 where they saw many other investment opportunities in the tourism and real estate sectors.
